We plan to audition several people for each character so that we have a wide variety of choice. First we must write a script for the auditionees to perform within their audition. We will ask them if they are okay with being filmed for their audition so we can watch them back to make our decision.
Once we have auditioned our options we will watch the footage/look at the photographs to decide whether or not the actors look suitable for the role. For example we will need a girly girl and a relatable and versatile male for the target audience.
We will also need to prepare a timetable for our auditionees to organise when each person needs to arrive and how long their audition will last. We will also prepare another timetable for our chosen actors so they know when they are needed for shoots and to ensure they are available.
